Spangrude, a professor of medicine at the University of Utah, will present “Stem Cells and Clones: The State of the Art.”
Drawing on his post graduate work at Stanford, Spangrude will provide an overview of stem cell research emphasizing the blood system’s impact on our current understanding of embryonic stem cells, and their role in future disease therapies.
The event, part of the Dumke College of Health Professions Emphasis Week, is free to the public.
