OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University’s Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery invites the public to the opening reception of works by Department of Visual Arts graduates April 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibition will remain on view until May 4.
In order to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (B.F.A.), the students must create a body of work for their final projects. The works in the exhibit include photography, graphic design, video, drawing and installation.
“The B.F.A. spring student exhibition will include work by 28 students and provides them with their first opportunity to show a body of work in a gallery,” said Katie Lee,Shaw Gallery director. “It also allows the public to see what kind of artwork WSU students are producing.
”The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. Content may or may not be appropriate for children of all ages.
