Members of the Wildcat athletic program will be conducting service projects and volunteering throughout the community. One such project involves WSU student athletes repairing and improving Serenity House in Ogden. For more than 60 years the facility has been a center for drug and alcohol rehabilitation, but time and limited budgets have taken a toll.
National Student Athletes Day is a day when high school and college student athletes around the country are both recognized for their achievements and have a chance to give back to the community that supports them.
WSU’s athlete service project was organized by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
