Legendary WSU Track Coach Chick Hislop to Speak at Alumni Center

Chick Hislop, who retired as the head coach of the Weber State University track and field and cross country teams in 2006, will discuss his career during a presentation on April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lindquist Alumni Center, located on the school’s Ogden campus.

In his 38 years at WSU, Hislop coached the track and field and cross country teams in 106 conference championships and more than 1,000 total meets, winning 21 Big Sky Conference championships. He was named Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year 20 times. Hislop also served as an assistant track and field coach for the U.S. team at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.
The upcoming presentation is part of the WSU Emeriti Alumni Council’s Classes Without Quizzes series. The class is free, but space is limited.
