WSU to Present Second Annual Ethics Day Event

The Richard Richards Institute for Politics, Decency & Ethical Conduct at Weber State University will host events examining ethical issues and dilemmas as part of its Ethics Day event April 3-4. Calvin M. Boardman, Bill Daniels Chair of Business Ethics and a finance professor at the University of Utah, will deliver the keynote address at an Ethics Day Scholarship Banquet April 3 at 6 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballroom. 

At the banquet, which is open to the public, WSU will award $19,000 in scholarships to the winners of a high school student essay competition. Tickets to the banquet are $15 and can be purchased at weber.edu/ethicsday.

There will also be a free lunch and workshop, “The Bottom Line On Integrity,” April 4 at the Hurst Center Dumke Legacy Hall. Quinn McKay, a motivational speaker, corporate consultant on ethics, former dean of the school of business at Weber State, and director of the Master of Business Administration program at Brigham Young University, will speak about recognizing and dealing with ethical dilemmas in the workplace.
