Matt’s book, which has been reviewed in Atlantic Monthly and the New York Times, looks at how the biblical sin of covetousness became passe as companies first used envy as a tool to fuel consumerism.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. Refreshments will be served.
The event is sponsored by the Weber County Historical Society and the Stewart Library.
