The Honors Issues Forum at Weber State University will present state representative David Litvack, addressing Hate Crimes Legislation in Utah. The event will be held Wednesday at noon in the Shepherd Union Ballroom and is free to the public.

Rep. Litvack sponsored HB 50-Criminal Penalty Amendment during the 2005 Legislative Session. The bill was defeated following debate in the House.

Litvack, a Democrat from Salt Lake City, represents House District 26.

The Honors Issues Forum is sponsored by WSU's Honors Program. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to park at the Dee Events Center and ride the complimentary Wildcat Express shuttles to campus.
