Weber State University will host the eighth annual Undergraduate Research Symposium and Celebration on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Building.
The symposium offers a forum for students to present their research findings and share experiences with the campus and community. The event will include approximately 115 student presenters, delivering 28 oral presentations and 37 poster presentations. The oral and poster presentations represent a broad cross section of departments and disciplines at WSU. Scheduled presentation topics range from preventing eating disorders to examining the impact of tanning on cortisol to examining the effects of artificial sugar on intestinal flora.
The symposium is free to the public.
Oral presentations will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students presenting posters will take questions from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Atrium. A complete schedule of events and additional information is available at weber.edu/our.
