WSU Alumni Hosting Housing Reunion

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State University Alumni Association is seeking roommates. More precisely, the WSUAA is interested in reconnecting with anyone who once called Lasal, Stansbury, Wasatch halls, Promontory Tower or University Village home.

For more than 50 years, these facilities provided Weber State students a home away from home. Now the Weber State University Alumni Association is hosting a reunion of former residents, on the eve of Promontory Tower being torn down this summer.

Promontory is the last of the four old dorms to come down, following the demolition of LaSal Hall in 2010, and Stansbury and Wasatch in 2011. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of University Village opening its doors.

The housing reunion will be held April 13, starting with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. and tours of WSU’s new state-of-the-art residence halls in the Wildcat Village complex. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the old dining hall in Promontory Tower.

Come reconnect with old friends, relive old memories and make new ones. For more information, call 801-626-7535 or visit alumni.weber.edu/shr.
