WSU Professor to Offer a What-if History of the Cuban Missile Crisis

OGDEN, Utah – During a presentation March 19 at Weber State University, Eric Swedin, a WSU associate professor of history, will analyze what could have happened if the Cuban Missile Crisis had led to war. Swedin is the author of seven books, including the 2010 Sidewise winner for Best Alternative History “When Angels Wept: A What-if History of the Cuban Missile Crisis.” The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lindquist Alumni Center and is free and open to the public.
