Nasar’s presentation, “A Beautiful Mind: Genius, Madness, Reawakening,” will focus on her book and her experiences chronicling the life of John Nash, mathematician and Nobel Prize winner. Her biography of Nash put a human face on schizophrenia and was the basis for the 2001 Academy Award-winning motion picture starring Russell Crowe.
The presentation is free to the public. Following the address, Nasar will sign
copies of her book in the Union Ballroom. Copies of the book can be purchased in the WSU bookstore.
Due to contractual agreements, audio and video recording of Nasar’s remarks for rebroadcast is not permitted.
