International Students Bring the World to WSU

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University invites the community to enjoy a night of dinner, dancing and entertainment at the international student banquet "Bringing the World to WSU" March 26 at 6 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballroom.

The banquet – which is sponsored by Services for International Students, the International Student Area Council and the International Student Club – is designed to allow international students the opportunity to share their culture with the community. The event concludes International Student Emphasis Week at WSU.

The dinner will feature food from around the world, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, Middle Eastern, Taiwanese, Peruvian, Indian and Italian. Entertainment will showcase Scottish, German, Asian, Ukrainian and Polynesian dancing, as well as a cultural fashion show and door prizes.

For each ticket purchased, $2 will be donated to tsunami relief funds. The price is $12 for WSU students with a Wildcard I.D, $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-12.  Children under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the Shepherd Union Information Booth or in Student Service Center 143.
