The Weber State University Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl team took fifth at the national championships Feb. 22 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This was the first year teams had to qualify in regional competition to compete, according to Richard Greene, associate philosophy professor and the team’s coach. “Every team participating was one of the best teams in their region,” he said.
The team lost in the quarterfinals to the University of Miami, the eventual national champions. The WSU team consisted of Rachel Robison, Brooke Robison, Jason Stout and Jacob Kunzler. “I consider this to be my most successful ethics bowl team ever,” Greene said.
