WSU Plans Lecture on Ogden Photos from Yesteryear

OGDEN, Utah – John Sillito, Weber State University professor, and Richard Sadler, history professor and dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, will present "A Backward Glance: Ogden in Photographs 1890-1920," Feb.28 at 7 p.m. in WSU's Lindquist Alumni Center, Ogden campus.

Sillito and Sadler will present and discuss many photos of early Ogden as part of the WSU Alumni Association's Classes Without Quizzes series. The event, co-sponsored by the Weber Historical Society, will feature photos of landmark buildings in Ogden such as the Union Station and Broom Hotel, along with depictions of everyday life and pastimes like bicycle racing, baseball and other sporting events.

Classes Without Quizzes offers lectures and activities to the community that are both educational and entertaining. The event is free to the public.
