UHC Honors Professor with Distinguished Humanities Award
The Utah Humanities Council recently recognized Weber State University associate history professor Kathryn MacKay with the 2007 Distinguished Humanities Award.
The award is UHC’s most prestigious honor and is presented to one individual for a lifetime of commitment and achievement. Some of MacKay’s work includes helping local museums design historical exhibits, facilitating book discussions at libraries around the state, and serving this year as the primary scholar for the Utah tour of the new Smithsonian Museum on Main Street exhibit, “Between Fences.”
