Speaker Will Adress Long-Term Impact of Poor Air Quality

The WSU Environmental Issues Committee will present “You Are What Your Grandparents Inhaled” featuring Dr. Brian Moench on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Hurst Center Dumke Legacy Hall.

Moench, a member of Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment, will speak about the threats Utah’s air pollution poses to our health and the health of future generations. Recent studies have found that air pollution negatively affects the normal development of the human embryo and the integrity of DNA.

Moench’s presentation is free to the public.
