GOALS

Upward Bound is a college preparatory program for high school students designed to help build academic and social skills and generate a positive attitude toward success in their education.

HISTORY

Weber State Univeristy Upward Bound is a National TRiO Program that began in 1965 under President Lyndon Baines Johnson's War on Poverty Program.  Upward Bound, Student Support Services and Educational Talent Search were the original three TRiO programs.
