About Tiffany

My name is Tiffany Gearhart and I have been working as the Math/Science Technology Specialist with Weber State University Upward Bound for 1 ½ years.  I graduated from Weber State University in December 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood and a minor in Mathematics.  Right after graduation, I began teaching with the Davis County Family Enrichment Center as a Head Start teacher.  At the end of that school year, I worked with the Upward Bound program as an ACT Math instructor during their six-week academic summer camp.  I returned to Head Start for the 2003-2004 school year and again taught Math over the summer with Upward Bound.  I started the 2004-2005 school year with Head Start, leaving my four-year olds in November 2004 to tread a new path in life.  I love working with adolescents who are taller than I am and visiting their schools.  My favorite part of this job is when I am mistaken for a high school student and threatened with truancy.  I am excited to learn and grow in this current position as I expand my knowledge and skills.
