For the past 36 years, David C. Trujillo has been a Weber State University TRIO staff member. He started as an Upward Bound summer residential counselor, and moved up to be an assistant instructor for diversity, recreational counselor, head residential counselor, and coordinator of the night residential program. In 1973, he became the Associate Director of Special Services at Weber State University and in 1986, Dave became the Director of Upward Bound and remains in that position today. Dave is a person who you cannot go anywhere with that he does not know someone. Networking is his middle name! He is always mentoring and role modeling for staff and students. A week never passes that he is not on the phone listening, advising, and sharing resources with someone throughout our community. He has shepherded thousands of young people through their high school and college educations. His staff, his peers, and students salute him for his dedication and the lesson that, "Learning is Fun and Fun is Learning!" |

Students need to meet at the UB office at 6:45pm in nice dress (no jeans or t-shirts) to walk to the Browning Center. Limited tickets so sign-up with Tiffany or Linda.
