As WSU faculty you can be involved in two primary ways. First, if you have an invention or idea that you feel has high potential as a commercial product, we’d love to know about it. Second, we often engage faculty in invention development and testing projects for private inventors and companies. If you are willing to be engaged in those projects, we’d also be interested to have you involved.
As a WSU student you can get involved by helping USTAR with product development and business and market analysis projects. In some cases we can structure student involvement to earn academic credit. It is a great opportunity for you to gain some valuable experience in your field of study working on real-life business issues.
