USTAR at WSU

The Utah Science, Technology and Research (USTAR) initiative is an innovative, far-reaching effort to accelerate Utah's knowledge economy by helping to turn innovation into industry.

WSU's USTAR Technology Outreach Center is one of five throughout the state as part of the USTAR Technology Outreach Program. The center brings together local businesses and industry, government agencies and area educational institutions with the main goals of:

Helping commercialize high-potential inventions from our universities and private sources
Enhancing the climate for innovation and entrepreneurism
Stimulating the creation of local enterprises based on innovations

WSU’s Technology Outreach Center serves Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Morgan, Rich and Weber counties, assisting select inventors and entrepreneurs who want to bring high-potential innovations to the marketplace.
