The Appointment Tutoring Center provides quality, one-on-one learning assistance by certified tutors who encourage and guide students in the development of their potential as independent learners. As part of Academic Support Centers and Programs, The Appointment Tutoring Center supports the following mission:
The Tutoring Centers support the mission of Weber State University and the Student Affairs Division by supporting student learning, connecting peers to the campus community, and building student leaders through providing quality tutoring by certified tutors who encourage and guide students in the development of their potential as independent learners.
Staff InformationThe Appointment Tutoring Center tutors are WSU students who have successfully completed the course(s) they tutor and instructors have recommended many of them. All tutors receive training in tutoring skills by attending a credit training course nationally certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
