Support, Training, & Quality Assurance Specialist
Iomega Corporation, an EMC Company, a worldwide leader in innovative storage solutions, is seeking an Advance Support, Training, & Quality Assurance Specialist. This position is located at the Roy, Utah Office.This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join a successful and growing business. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Support, the key responsibilities of the Advance Support, Training, and Quality Assurance Specialist are to provide advance technical support, develop and provide training for Iomega’s contact centers, conduct Quality Assurance (QA) observations and calibrations, and write knowledge base articles for Iomega’s web support site.
Essential Functions:
Advance Technical SupportProvide advanced level support for Iomega’s customer support centers as well as interface directly with Iomega’s customers.
Proactively research and resolve customer issues and respond through phone and/or written correspondence.
Mentor and work closely with our customer support contact center to improve customer satisfaction ratings.
Training
Responsible for global coordination of training Iomega’s customer support agents
Develop and deliver training including but not limited to technical troubleshooting, processes, and tools
Analyze customer and agent feedback to develop continuous improvement plan
Quality Assurance
Work closely with individual support centers to improve agent competency including but not limited to monitoring, testing, corrective action, and reporting
Develop continuous improvement plan for agent competency
Leverage customer support data to feedback to product and quality teams
Knowledgebase
Create, develop, and post web technical and non-technical content including graphics
Collect, analyze, and report web metrics and customer survey results, compare to goals, and take necessary corrective actions to meet the goals
Assist with site development and site design layout projects as requested
Monitor search engine effectiveness and take actions as required
Complete other projects and improvement initiatives as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Two year associate degree in technical related field
Network Plus or equivalent certification
Strong computer networking background and troubleshooting experience
Minimum one year technical training experience
Minimum one year technical experience with computers and operating systems
Linux, Microsoft, and Apple, and operating system knowledge and troubleshooting experience
Proven technical aptitude
Proven customer service aptitude
Professional written & oral communication skills
Strong deductive logic, decision making & analytical skills
Excellent organization and time-management skills
High level of personal initiative and professionalism
Preferred:
2+ years technical support/troubleshooting experience within the computer industryBachelors degree in technical related field and/or network certifications
Basic knowledge of best practices and troubleshooting for VMWare ESX platforms
Network administration experience, including troubleshooting complex networks with Active Directory
Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting with Linux operating systems
Experience with computer peripherals and multiple computer operation systems such as Windows, Mac, and Linux
Experience with RightNow Technologies support system
Direct customer support experience in computer storage industry
Experience working with contact centers located in US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America
Project management experience with a solid understanding and application of project management principles
In addition to English, fluent in oral and written in any additional languages a plus.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To design, develop and maintain corporate wide technology that interacts with all of the existing websites as well as the creation of new websites and digital products. One key requirement for this position will be having experience with programming in both PHP and Ruby on Rails.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Development of enterprise PHP web applications, including the Zend PHP framework
? Development using the Ruby on Rails framework
? Maintenance of existing enterprise web applications
? Perform code development life cycle from design, create, review, test and deployment
? Design and analysis of MySQL tables, queries, and stored procedures
? Primary responsibility is both front and back end development, applicants must have strong front end experience working with designs in HTML and CSS implementation
