What degrees/certificates are available?

The program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in business/multimedia technologies. This is a two-step degree with the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business/ Multimedia Technologies required as the first 63 hours for the bachelor's degree.

What are the employment opportunities?

With knowledge of telecommunications, multimedia software, and business systems, graduates find jobs in advertising, public relations, training, magazine and catalog publishing, and web design. Based on the emphasis selected, graduates are prepared to work as multimedia developers, print/web designers, office supervisors/managers, or software trainers.

What are the starting salaries of graduates?

Starting salaries vary depending on the region, workplace and skill level. Starting salaries range from $25,000-$30,000 per year. With more experience and advancement, salaries can increase beyond $40,000.

What will I learn in the program?

You will learn a variety of software programs including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and electronic presentations software. You will also learn various multimedia programs including graphics, drawing, video and audio editing, animation, and web design. Along with learning the software, students install and manage these programs on a computer network. 

Students gain competence in business communication, personnel training, customer service, and marketing which are crucial for a successful business career.  You will be introduced to new procedures applied to management of both people and equipment to help meet the challenges of the ever-changing technology.
