What is your favorite food?: Ice Cream!
What is your favorite part of your job?: Sorting all sorts of numbers in Excel and coming up with cool statistics. I know, I am a nerd.
What was your experience in your field before this position?: Prior to my current position, I worked as a Student Employee within the Assessment Department while completing my bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Prior to working directly in assessment, I held many other related positions that required data analyzing.
What advice would you have for students who have future aspirations of attaining your job title?: I would advise them that while working on their undergrad to take any statistic or Microsoft Excel/Access courses that are available so that they understand the basics of analyzing data in these programs.
What makes you smile each morning as you prepare to start the day?: My cute little 7-month-old girl. I am not a morning person at all, but hearing her squeal and giggle in her crib always helps getting up in the morning be a little bit easier!
