Welcome to the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Weber State University. The social and behavioral sciences are all about people, past and present – why they behave as they do, how their groups, societies, and cultures interact with each other and with their environment, and how they change. The social sciences are an important part of the liberal education that every WSU student receives. Our nine majors and 19 minors are gateways to graduate and professional school and a great variety of careers that involve understanding behavior and working with people, ranging from social work to psychology. Our Master’s degree in Criminal Justice prepares both current and aspiring professionals to advance in their careers. Our dedicated faculty members are recognized scholars in their fields, and work closely with students in hands-on learning experiences, such as internships and student research. If you are interested in what makes people tick, explore our Web site and see whether one of our programs is for you!
