- Peer mentoring
- Supplemental Grant Aid to qualifying students
- One-on-one tutoring for most academic courses
- Newsletter with program information published each semester
- Access to the SSS computer lab, including computers and printer
- Workshops covering:
- time management
- test anxiety
- test-taking tips
- learning styles
- textbook reading
- preparation for graduate school
- finding scholarships
- and more interesting and helpful topics

Student Support Services is 100% federally funded. The grant amount for the 2012/2013 school year is $401,130.
