Weber State University Mission Statement Weber State University offers associate, baccalaureate, and master degree programs in a broad variety of liberal arts, sciences, technical, and professional fields. Student Success Center Mission Statement
The mission of the Student Success Center at Weber State University is to effectively provide academic advisement for students earning an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in General Studies. Academic advisors assist General Studies majors with academic planning, major exploration, graduation sign-offs and referrals to other campus support services. In addition to the aforementioned, the Student Success Center is responsible for the administration of the First Year Experience Program (FYE) and two Weber State University programs in support of academically at-risk students: WSU's Assessment and Placement Policy compliance and WSU's Early Alert Referral Service (EARS). The Student Success Center is committed to providing high-quality academic advising services (information, academic skills training, and resource referrals) that evolve based on student feedback and other research in support of student retention and persistence to graduation.
