Student Success Center - Bounce Back

Bounce Back

General Studies students on academic warning, probation, or suspension must attend a Bounce Back Workshop (formerly Seminar for Academic Success) and an individual follow-up appointment with a General Studies Advisor.

During the 45-minute Bounce Back Workshop, you will be introduced to resources and strategies to help you raise your GPA and help you avoid suspension. The majority of individual appointments will be available immediately following the workshop. If you fail to attend a Bounce Back Workshop and follow-up appointment, you will receive an academic hold which will prevent you from registering for your next semester.

Avoid receiving an academic hold by signing up for a Bounce Back Workshop and a follow-up appointment. To do so, complete the following steps in order:

  1. Complete and submit your Academic Self-Assessment to the Student Success Center.
