Document Check and Required Orientation
Come to ISSC in Room 143 Student Service Building for document check and required orientation. See orientation dates on this page to the right. Please bring your I-20 (make sure you bring pages 1 and 3) or DS-2019, passport, visa, I-94 card, previous I-20/DS-2019 (if applicable), admission letter, and sponsor letter (if applicable), Dependent I-20/DS-2019 (if applicable), and Dependent I-94 card (if applicable).
(Only for those students coming from another U.S. college or university).
Contact Your College/Department
You will need to obtain necessary permissions for registration. You may also be expected to attend a college and/or department orientation.
Confirm Teaching/Research Assistantships
If you are a graduate student with an assistantship, confirm it with your department as soon as possible.

Register for Classes
After you have removed all holds (temporarily or permanently) from your record, and have met with your college or department advisor, it may be possible to register for classes. Most new students, especially undergraduates, will register during their college orientation.
Pay Tuition & Fees
You will pay your tuition and fees when you receive a billing statement on your student portal.

Orientation to the ESL Placement Test: Monday, August 18, 2014 from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
ESL Placement Testing: Monday, August 18, 2014 from 9 a.m. to Noon
ESL Placement Test Results: Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
Campus Tour and Orientation: Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
