Weber State University offers classes during fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students must register each semester to attend classes. The web-based class schedule provides information about the dates and times classes are offered for the selected semester. See the Academic Calendar for registration dates and beginning and ending dates for each semester.
To register for classes, new students should:
Complete the admissions process — new students who have applied for admission (available on-line at weber.edu/admissions), but have not received an acceptance notice by mail, should contact the Admissions Office at 801-626-6050.
* To log in, go to weber.edu and enter your Wildcat Username and password.
A Wildcat ID and password are required before registering online in your eWeber student portal. You can sign up for a Wildcat ID online at weber.edu/eservices. For assistance contact Computing Support at 801-626-7777.

STEP 1: PREPARING TO REGISTER |

OBTAIN A REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT
You will be assigned a registration appointment based on your cumulative completed credit hours. Starting at your appointment time, you will have access to the registration system throughout the registration period.
- Log into the student portal. (See STEP 2 below)
- CLICK the Student Services tab
- CLICK Registration Time/Check Registration Status under the Registration Menu
SEEK ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT
For information on program requirements and for help selecting appropriate courses, consult the online catalog (http://weber.edu/catalog) and your academic advisor.
- For information regarding course numbering and curriculum changes, the Student Success Center maintains a list of courses, cross-listing the old and new numbers.
- If you have declared a major other than General Studies, your advisor is in your college or major department. Click here for an advisor list including contact information

- Go to http://weber.edu
- CLICK the Current Students link at the top of the screen
- CLICK Class Schedules

STEP 2: LOG IN WITH YOUR WILDCAT ID |
- Go to http://weber.edu
- ENTER your Wildcat Username (WCID) and password. If you don’t have a Wildcat ID/account, follow the instructions to create one
- CLICK Submit

STEP 3: REGISTRATION |
- CLICK the Student Services tab
- CLICK Register (Add/Drop)
- SELECT the term for which you want to register from the drop-down menu
- CLICK the Submit button
- ENTER the five digit course reference number(s) (CRN(s)) selected from the online Class Schedule OR
- CLICK Class Search
- SELECT a Subject from the drop-down menu
- ENTER a course number, or leave blank to view all courses offered by this department.
- Advanced Search Options (NOT REQUIRED): You may narrow your search by entering information into the remaining fields
- CLICK Class Search. A list of the course(s) you requested will be generated

- CLICK the box in the Select Column to add a course.
(If there is a “C” in the column the course is CLOSED; If there is an SR or NR in the column there is a restriction on those individuals who may register for the course. Contact the department for details.)
TWO OPTIONS TO ADD A CLASS
OPTION 1:
This will add the class to your schedule and return you to “Search the course schedule”
Repeat instructions from STEP 3 (above) until you have completed your schedule.
OPTION 2:
This will add the course to a worksheet. You may choose to store up to 13 course reference numbers (CRNs) on your worksheet as you decide which you want to register for. Once you have decided, delete the CRNs for the courses you do not want to add to your schedule.
- CLICK the Submit Changes button to register for the remaining courses on your worksheet.
Helpful Information:
Plan a course schedule — some alternate classes should be selected in case first selections are closed.
Pay tuition and fees — log in to the eWeber student portal* to pay tuition and fees online. Electronic statements and up-to-date balances are available in the student account at any time. | |
