Radiologic Technology Overview | |||||||||||||||||||||
|
Radiologic Technologists (radiographer, X-ray technician) use their knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathology, imaging procedures and equipment utilization to create permanent medical images or administer therapeutic treatments. Technologists must also use patient care and assessment skills to provide quality care to patients. After completion of the radiography program, you will sit for the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). See the Accreditation, Licensure & Certification page for more information.
