Sophie Wetherell Reed Scholarship
Sophie Wetherell Reed was the premier dance teacher in Weber County for many years and taught hundreds of students. She also had a love for drama as well as for music. Her daughter, Sophie Reed Richards, established this scholarship in memory of her mother. Richards passed away in 1997, not long after graduating from WSU at the age of 70.

Anya Kenley Scholarship
This award was established by Julie Kenley in remembrance of her daughter, Anya, who was 16 years old when she died of lymphoma. Anya was an accomplished dancer, musician and writer. She rejoiced in the arts. Had she lived, she would have been both an artist and a patron of the arts. She wished that her opportunity not be lost but passed on to other earnest students.
