"Weber State University gave me opportunities that my peers in other undergraduate theatre programs did not have. My design work on four department mainstage productions puts me on par with graduate students in my field. I had the opportunity to sit at the production table with first-rate faculty designers, directors and choreographers – professors who became my mentors and remain my friends.

"WSU also introduced me to a larger theatre community by sponsoring my attendance to college (KCACTF) and professional (USITT) conferences in California and Arizona. My department and college financed my final two years, through thousands of dollars of scholarship money and cash awards, allowing me to focus on acquiring the kind of hands-on experience a job in theatre really demands.
