A worthy student in the Department of Performing Arts with a minimum GPA of 2.5 |
| Sophie R. Richards/Sophie Wetherill Reed | The scholarship recipient must be a student in performing arts who has demonstrated talent and ability in his/her chosen discipline and a GPA of 3.0 or better. |
| LuJean M. Thompson | The scholarship recipient must be majoring in the performing arts with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient should complete the FAFSA |
| Marilyn B. and LuJean W. Blakely | The scholarship recipient must be majoring or minoring in the performing arts with a minimum GPA of 3.0 |
| Presser Foundation | The scholarship recipient will be an outstanding student majoring in music who is at or near the end of their Junior year. This scholarship is based on merit and achievement in music. The scholarship recipient must be an outstanding student majoring in music at or near the end of their junior year. |
| Elizabeth Stewart | These scholarships are awarded to outstanding students pursuing one of the following degrees: Music Education; Keyboard, String or Vocal Pedagogy |
| Cannonball | The recipient must be attending full time, be majoring in music with an emphasis on any instrument, and have a 3.5 GPA or higher. Jazz students are eligible, however they must be serious about mastering their instrument classically as well as in jazz. |
Applicants will be considered for all scholarships
Application Deadline March 15, 2013
Applicants must be full-time students and have a record of participation in Department of Performing Arts activities. The Reed Scholarship requires junior or senior class standing and a letter of recommendation (turn in to BC 331). The recipients of these scholarships will provide a brief biographical sketch and a letter of appreciation to the donor of their award. The awards must be used at Weber State University.
