Semester/Exploratory Grants provide for smaller independent student projects including preliminary or exploratory research and follow-up expenses associated with larger projects.

• Reviewed by Grant Review Sub-committee
• Four deadlines/year (2 Fall Semester, 2 Spring Semester)
• $1000 budget limit
• Budget may not include a stipend.

Grant Proposal Deadlines

First Round - September 29, 2008
Second Round - November 3, 2008
Third Round - February 2, 2009
Fourth Round - March 30, 2009

Dates listed are final deadlines for turning in your proposal to the Office of Undergraduate Research. Please turn in your grant proposal to the undergraduate research representative for your college (see link below to find your rep.) at least one week prior to the deadline in order for them to make suggestions and corrections and return it to you. This will give you the opportunity to make any necessary revision prior to the
