Semester/Exploratory Grants provide for smaller independent student projects including preliminary or exploratory research and follow-up expenses associated with larger projects. Students must be currently enrolled to apply.

- Four deadlines/year (2 Fall Semester, 2 Spring Semester)
- $1000 budget limit
- Budget may not include a stipend.

Dates listed are final deadlines for turning in your proposal to the Office of Undergraduate Research. Please turn in your grant proposal to the undergraduate research representative for your college (see link below to find your rep.) at least one week prior to the deadline in order for them to make suggestions and corrections and return it to you. This will give you the opportunity to make any necessary revision prior to the deadline.

Please turn in one paper copy with all signatures and one electronic copy. Electronic copies can be brought in to our office or emailed to our@weber.edu. Proposals not in compliance with these terms will not be considered for funding.
