National Conference on Undergraduate Research

Purpose

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) will provide travel support for students to present their research or creative works at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). The next NCUR conference will be

Eligibility

All currently enrolled students are eligible to apply. Students must have worked with a WSU faculty or staff member who served as a mentor to the project. Undergraduate research projects that include teams of students within or across disciplines are encouraged to apply however due to limited funds only one member of a team can be supported through OUR.

Process

Abstract submission will begin on October 3, 2011. Because Weber State University is hosting NCUR, applicants will not need to submit a travel grant. We will fund the registration costs of abstracts which are accepted to present.

  • NCUR Registration Opens - $185/person                January 13, 2012
  • NCUR Registration closes/late registration            February 10, 2012
