International Forum for Democratic Studies   invites visiting fellowships in residence at IFDS in Washington, D.C., for three to ten months during which time they carry out written or other projects related to democracy.  Awards provide limited stipends, travel expenses, office space, computer facilities, access to library services, and an opportunity to interact with other scholars and democratic activists from various regions of the world.   (FRR 1/18)

NSF:  Law and Social Science Mid-Career Training Fellowships   provides support for law and social science scholars who enroll in advanced methodological or theoretical training (e.g., courses, institutes, workshops, and seminars).  The purpose of these awards is to broaden the pool of scholars who are engaged in innovative research in the law and social sciences.   (Guidelines)
