Faculty Member Gains National Recognition | |||||||||||||
"Nursing Education Perspectives," an official publication of the National League for Nursing, has spotlighted WSU assistant professor Kathleen Sitzman in its "Faculty Matters" column. To be chosen for this publication is a privilege and an honor. Innovative and creative faculty, those who are dedicated to quality nursing education, those who are published authors, and those who are recognized as experts in their nursing specialty areas are invited to interview. Kathleen Sitzman meets all this criteria and more. We are proud to have her as a professor and nationally respected faculty member in the WSU Department of Nursing. Her dedication to teaching and her innovative teaching methodologies shape the future of nursing education. Sitzman also was named the Dumke College of Health Professions' winner of the George and Beth Lowe Teaching Award, which goes to a faculty member who has excelled in innovative teaching. |
