Admission into the WSU Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is selective. Approximately 20 students will be accepted into the program each year: 10 in Nursing Administration concentration and 10 in Nursing Education concentration.

Application Process

Formal admission to the University prior to applying to the MSN program is strongly recommended.

It is critical that all parts of the application process be completed and submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please download the appropriate brochure and admission checklist for your program (to aid you in the process) and all necessary applications from our Applications & Checklists page.

Deadlines

Applications become available in October the year prior to the program start date. Applications are accepted every year for fall admission with an application deadline of March 1st. The MSN program will admit every year based upon administrative approval, funding, and a qualified number of applicants.

Process

MSN applications are reviewed by the Nursing Admissions and Advancement Committee.

Selection Notification

Students are notified of acceptance into the program by May 1 for Fall admission.
