Admissions & Selection
Admission into the WSU Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is selective. Approximately 40 students will be accepted into the program each year: 20 in Nurse Leader: Executive track and 20 in Nurse Leader: Educator track.
The MSN program utilizes an online application process.
It is critical that all parts of the application process be completed and submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please go to this page: Applications & Checklists to access the information related to the application process.
Applications become available in October the year prior to the program start date. Applications are accepted every year for fall admission with an application deadline of March 30th. The MSN program will admit every year based upon administrative approval, funding, and a qualified number of applicants.
MSN applications are reviewed by the Nursing Admissions and Advancement Committee.
