Rick T. Westmoreland is an adjunct professor in both the Criminal Justice and Nursing departments. He is currently employed with the Davis County Attorney's office as a criminal prosecutor.  He has also practiced in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, and domestic law. Currently he is assigned to supervise drug cases at the Davis County Attorney's office. He is also a member of a team that travels around the State of Utah to train police officers and prosecutors on pharmaceutical drug investigations and prosecutions.

Rick has taught Criminal Law, Laws of Evidence, Juvenile Law  as well as Legal and Ethical issues in Nursing. He has given lectures on these subjects for many other classes and professional organizations and has been a regular guest lecturer in the ASN program concerning legal issues in nursing.

Rick is a graduate of Weber State University, BS (1993), as well as the University of Oklahoma, JD (1998). He has four wonderful children. He is also currently in the United States Army Reserves, assigned as a Judge Advocate General for the 2nd Medical Brigade. He is the voice of the Bonneville Lakers football and baseball programs and is active civically in the city of South Ogden, where he resides.
