Online RN to BSN program for outreach areas:

To better provide RN's in rural communities and areas that have traditionally been served by WSU Outreach Nursing Programs WSU's School of Nursing now will provide the opportunity to apply for a 2-year, 4-semester online program that begins in January or August. Approximately 10 to 16 positions will be accepted to start in January and the same to start in August.

An application packet should be requested and then the applicant can choose the online option (4 semester option).  Space is very limited and competitive. A point ranking system is used to rank qualified applicants based upon CUM GPA, Science GPA, work experience as an RN, and re-applicant status. If students are not admitted they can choose to re-apply during the next application cycle.

Applications for the January start become available in September and are due by November 1.  Applications for an August start become available in January and are due by April 1 of each year.
