During the Spring of 2007 several Microbiology students presented their research at local meetings.


Jennika Scadden and Chase Sessions present Phosphate Use in Halophilic Microorganisms at the Utah Undergraduate Research Symposium at the University of Utah, March 2007. 


Kevin Bowcutt and co-author Daniel Cox (not pictured) present their work on chitin-utilizing halophiles at the American Society for Microbiology Intermountain Branch Meeting in Pocatello, ID.  Kevin and Dan won 1st place in the poster competition!
