What is Phi Beta Lambda?
The TBE Department hosts Phi Beta Lambda, a student leadership organization dedicated to preparing students for careers in business. In today's highly competitive business environment it takes more than just a business degree to succeed. It requires business shrewdness, leadership skills, and technical knowledge.
This is where Phi Beta Lambda excels. By taking advantage of the many programs PBL offers, business students acquire the skills that will set them apart from the average business graduate. Members learn through participating in a variety of activities that help them build their skills, while contributing to the improvement of the community in which they live, their school, and their chapter.
One of the most rewarding aspects of PBL is the chance to compete against other college students throughout Utah in various business related subjects. Every spring Utah hosts a State Leadership Conference where these competitions take place. The students who rank near the top in state are eligible to compete on the national level at the National Leadership Conference each summer.
