Anthropology is a rapidly growing discipline with expanding employment demands for graduates as consultants, instructors, directors, planners or designers in fields such as education, business, government (federal, state, or local), environment agencies, law, forensics, medicine and health care programs, the military, politics, public administration, foreign service agencies, tourism, museums, zoos, communications and journalism, public relations, creative arts, industry, community development programs and human services.
Recognition of the value of anthropology degrees was cited in USA Today (Feb. 18, 1999), "Hot Asset in Corporate Anthropology Degree:" "...As companies go global and crave leaders for a diverse workforce, a new, hot degree is emerging for aspiring executives: anthropology." What will I learn in the program?
