What will I learn?

As a master of accounting student, you can choose one of two tracks: the tax track or the professional accounting track.

Following the completion of the tax track, you'll be prepared to handle the research and application of complex tax law and have confidence managing even the most challenging tax situations.

Though course work focuses on the U.S. tax system, elective credits are filled by classes in other areas of accounting, thereby establishing your knowledge of the entire profession.

Your education in the professional accounting track includes instruction in government and nonprofit accounting, financial statement analysis, financial accounting and reporting, internal auditing and more.

Professional track students also have six credit hours of electives to be filled with a variety of master of accounting classes. This flexibility means you can steer your degree in the direction most meaningful to your career goals.
