All MLT and transfer MLS applicants are required to meet with a Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences faculty advisor.
It is to your advantage to receive advisement early in the program curriculum, ideally before or while enrolled in MLS 1113.
Advisement generally takes about 30 minutes and is intended to inform you of MLS career opportunities, program policies, curriculum requirements and application procedures. To schedule an advising appointment, please call the MLS department secretary at 801-626-6118.
We recommend that all students meet with a MLS faculty advisor at least once each semester to assess your progress in completing program requirements.
