- Received with my colleagues from the Site Based Teacher Education Project the 1995 Exemplary Collaboration Award given by the WSU Faculty Awards Committee of Academic Affairs.
- Received the Weber State University Hemingway Faculty Development Award presented January 12, l990 in Ogden, Utah, for developing a Pilot Program for the Restructuring of the WSU Teacher Education Program in English.
- The Hemingway Program for Restructuring Teacher Education and the Faculty Associated with the Program were nominated by Dean Richard Jones of the WSU School of Education and received on January 17, l992 for the Utah Association of Teacher Educators' "Exemplary Project in Teacher Education Award.”
