Banner is an SCT Corporation product with over 800 users.  Eight of those users are Utah State higher learning institutions, including Weber State University.  In an attempt to "weber-ize" the Banner product and make it our own, a contest was held to come up with an appropriate name.  The results, in keeping with the Wildcat theme: LYNX.
