The mission of the IT Infrastructure Department is the planning, designing, implementing, testing, and operation of the Weber State University computer networks and telecommunicaations. This includes all physical layer media, equipment, network wide programs and systems. We will set network standards, and establish baseline measurements. We will monitor, collect, and review network statistics to obtain optimal network usage and efficiency for students, faculty, and staff. We will evaluate and document the physical network. We will evaluate and document all users and equipment attached to said network.
